Bluechoice SC: 1095-B Tax Forms to Be Mailed This Week

BlueChoice HealthPlan will mail Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Form 1095-B to members who purchased individual coverage from BlueChoice® or received coverage from BlueChoice through their fully insured, employer-sponsored health plan.

Form 1095-B is intended to help members complete their federal income tax returns for the 2018 tax year. It shows when in 2018 the member and any covered family members had the “minimum essential” coverage required to avoid having to pay the tax penalty for not having coverage.
