Healthcare.gov ISSUES: 2-14-2015

We just received the following operations notice from the Centers For Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regarding a Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) system disruption:

“Starting at 8:53 AM ET, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) verification services via the Federal Data Services Hub have been experiencing disruptions. When IRS verification services are unavailable, consumers seeking financial assistance may complete an application but will not be able to receive an eligibility determination. Rather, they will have to save their application and return to Healthcare.gov to complete the process when the IRS services become available.

Consumers who have already completed their application are not affected and may continue to shop for and enroll in a plan. Further, consumers who are not seeking financial assistance are not affected.

CMS support teams are working diligently on the resolution and will notify you when the IRS verification services are once again available.

Thank you for your patience.”
